Continuing medical education offerings for practising doctors: workshops, structured teaching sessions and mentorship in which a clinical skill is taught, demonstrated and then practised under review. These are the right choice when reading alone has stopped moving you forward, for example when echo windows, ECG interpretation or emergency decision-making need supervised correction rather than another chapter. Sessions are aimed at physicians in international practice who cannot easily leave their service for weeks at a time.
