The first six weeks
Life after angioplasty is dominated by questions patients rarely get time to ask: when driving may resume, when work may resume, what chest sensations are normal at the access site, when sexual activity is safe, what to do about the bruise. Each is answered with a timescale and with the specific features that mean a doctor should be contacted instead.
Medication, and the year that follows
